It was a rough afternoon for the Dallas Cowboys. Needing a win to remain in playoff contention, the Cowboys were stymied by the Seattle Seahawks in a 21-12 loss at AT&T Stadium. And the Seahawks rubbed some salt in the wound during the third quarter. Quarterback Dak Prescott tried to dump off a pass to Ezekiel Elliott that was intercepted by Justin Coleman and returned 30 yards for a touchdown. Titans, Seahawks Stay In Locker Room During National Anthem In Unprecedented Moment
There was an unprecedented scene before the Seattle Seahawks-Tennessee Titans game at LP Field on Sunday. In response to President Donald Trump’s call to “fire” any player who protests during the national anthem, both the Seahawks and Titans released separate statements saying they would not be coming onto the field for the anthem. And as a result, LP Field looked eerily empty before kickoff. But the team’s weren’t the only ones in Nashville, Tenn., to take a stand, as singer Meghan Linsey and her guitarist took a knee at the end of the song. Ex-Patriot Brandon Browner Agrees To Terms To Return To Seahawks
The Legion of Boom will reunite in 2016. Cornerback Brandon Browner has agreed to terms to return to the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Sunday. Browner played for the Seahawks from 2011 to 2013 after spending four seasons in the CFL. Browner, fellow cornerback Richard Sherman and safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor made up the Legion of Boom. Sherman, Thomas and Chancellor remain with the Seahawks. Browner, 31, beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX as a member of the New England Patriots in 2014. He played on the New Orleans Saints in 2015.
