Colin Kaepernicks Reveals First Wave Of Donations For ‘Million Dollar Pledge’

Share this: Colin Kaepernick didn’t exercise his right to vote in the general election, but it appears he’s making good on his promise to make a difference in the community. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who has protested during national anthems this season to protest racial inequality in America, said back in September he’d donate the first $1 million he makes this season to organizations that could help promote social justice. On Friday, Kaepernick took to Instagram to give an update on the “Million Dollar Pledge.” The QB’s website, Kaepernick7.com, details the donations Kaepernick made in October and what he plans to do in November. Duke Vs. Pittsburgh Highlights NESN, NESNplus Saturday College Football Schedules

The Pittsburgh Panthers pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the college football season in their last game, but that doesn’t mean facing 4-6 Duke on Saturday will be a walk in the park. The Panthers stunned Clemson last week and shook up the College Football Playoff race. They already are bowl eligible, so they mostly have pride and bowl positioning left to play for this season. The Blue Devils, meanwhile, are coming off a win over then-No. 17 North Carolina but still are two wins away from becoming bowl eligible. So there will be plenty on the line when these two Atlantic Coast Conference teams face off on NESN at 3 p.m.

Fantasy Football Rankings: 5 Must-Start Defenses For Week 11 Lineups

Share this: Fantasy football playoffs are starting soon in many leagues across the nation, and it would be a shame if a poor performance by your defense cost you a chance at the league title. Here are five must-start defenses for Week 11 of the NFL season. Seattle SeahawksThe Seahawks give up the second-fewest points per game and allow less than 100 rushing yards per matchup. They’re also coming off a great performance against the New England Patriots, one that included Tom Brady’s first interception of the season and a fourth-quarter fumble recovery that resulted in the game-winning touchdown. Their matchup against Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz on Sunday is a pretty good one, too. Arizona CardinalsThe Cardinals play a Minnesota Vikings offense that ranks

Fantasy Football Week 11: Starts, Sits For Saints Vs. Panthers ‘Thursday Night F…

Share this: We were blessed with some pretty entertaining NFL games in Week 10, and this week’s slate of games should get off to a good start, too, with the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers facing off on “Thursday Night Football.” Here’s who we recommend starting and sitting on both clubs in this NFC South matchup. New Orleans SaintsQuarterback: Drew Brees is a must start this week and every week. He’s thrown for at least three touchdowns in four of his last five games, and he’s second only to Matt Ryan with 2,992 passing yards this season. Even at 37 years old, Brees still is a top-tier fantasy (and real life) quarterback. Running Back: The Panthers are allowing the second-fewest rushing yards in the NFL, which

Indians’ Terry Francona, Dodgers’ Dave Roberts Named MLB Managers Of The Year

Share this: The Cleveland Indians’ Terry Francona and Los Angeles Dodgers’ Dave Roberts have been voted the American League and National League Managers of the Year, respectively, by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Francona, who also won the award in 2013, led the Indians to the AL Central title with a 94-67 record, and although the postseason isn’t considered for the award, he certainly backed it up by coming just one victory shy of winning the World Series. Francona received 22 first-place votes, and led overall with 128 points. The Texas Rangers’ Jeff Banister and Baltimore Orioles’ Buck Showalter rounded out the top three, respectively. Roberts, meanwhile, won the award in his first season with the Dodgers. L.A. won the NL West with a 91-71 record, which is

But, as the regular season draws to a close, it’s time to make some tough decisions and drop underperforming players. So, to help you with that dilemna, here are five players you should consider dropping this week to make room for these guys. Case Keenum, QB, Los Angeles RamsIt’s finally happening. The Los Angeles Rams have decided to bench Keenum and finally start rookie No. 1 pick Jared Goff at quarterback.
