Share this: If this happened at home, someone might be in big trouble with the wife. Home plate umpire Todd Tichenor was forced to call time during the second inning of Tuesday night’s game between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees at Fenway Park because someone left open the garage door located in foul territory along the left field line. It only was a minor delay, as a quick-acting employee ran to the rescue, knowing exactly where the button to close the door was located.
