It doesn’t seem like Martavis Bryant and the Pittsburgh Steelers are anywhere close to mending fences. The fourth-year wide receiver has been frustrated with his role in the Steelers’ offense this season and reportedly requested a trade out of Pittsburgh. Bryant’s reported trade request apparently didn’t go over too well with the Steelers, as he was benched for the team’s “Sunday Night Football” game against the Detroit Lions. Following Pittsburgh’s 20-15 win, head coach Mike Tomlin wasn’t very interested in divulging into Bryant’s inactivity and also wasn’t willing to commit to the 25-year-old being in the Steelers’ plans mov... Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Dominates Again; Is He NFL MVP Frontrunner?
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers hit rock bottom after a 42-24 loss to the Washington Redskins on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 12. Rodgers wasn’t playing his best football and Green Bay’s playoff chances with a 4-6 record looked slim. They basically had to win out to have a good chance at reaching the NFL playoffs, and thanks to Rodgers’ excellent play at quarterback, that’s exactly what the Packers have done. The Packers beat the rival Minnesota Vikings 38-25 on Saturday behind Rodgers’ 347 yards and four touchdowns against an elite defense. Seahawks-Cardinals ‘Sunday Night Football’ Was The Best Bad Game Ever
Share this: You’re never supposed to ask if things can possibly get any worse. “Sunday Night Football” in Week 7 is why. The NFL is in the midst of a week from hell, in which it finds itself in the middle of another domestic violence fiasco days after Week 6 TV ratings hit their lowest mark in five years. So the worst thing that could’ve happened to the league’s already-dropping ratings was a sloppy, low-scoring game on its ratings darling, “Sunday Night Football.” Sometimes, Karma just has a way of catching up to you. The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals played one of the worst games in the history of football, as both teams failed to score a touchdown in a 6-6 tie. It
Martellus Bennett’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ Intro Will Leave You Laughing
Share this: Martellus Bennett has a very unique personality. He put a tiny piece of that on display Sunday night. The New England Patriots tight end started in place of injured Rob Gronkowski, and because the Patriots were on national television against the Arizona Cardinals, Bennett got to do one of the quick video introductions where players give their name and alma mater on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football.” “Marty” gave us this. That wasn’t just a mumbled version of “Texas A&M,” where Bennett actually played his college ball. That was “The Imagination Agency.” We have no idea what that is, but we’re pretty sure Bennett is the best football player his “school” has ever produced.
