Zarco extends contract with Tech 3 for 2018

Herve Poncharal, Team Manager: “This news is incredibly good for me and the entire Monster Yamaha Tech3 team but it is also positive for MotoGP racing worldwide and especially in France. We can announce that Johann Zarco has decided to remain with us for the 2018 season. Perhaps he could have waited a bit longer to make this decision, but he told me that he is happy and ready to commit himself to us. We are very proud to have that sort of confidence from Johann. He has already brought some amazing things to the team, such as huge excitement and joy, but he has also given us some pride back. I’m sure the best is yet to come, yet

Kent: KTM Moto3™ test and wildcard at Le Mans

Aki Ajo, Team Manager: "After learning of Danny Kent’s situation in the World Championship, the team, Red Bull and KTM had the joint idea of asking him to test and develop our bike. Danny is a rider who has already been part of our team in the past; we know well how he works and he knows us, and we believe that with his experience he can give us a very interesting point of view for the technical development of our bike. In addition, what every rider needs is to compete, so we have offered him the possibility of a wildcard ride at Le Mans with us. I am convinced that the outcome of this collaboration will be very satisfactory

Lift off for Del Conca Gresini Moto3™

Fausto Gresini, Team Manager: "I would first like to thank once again Del Conca, which have embraced this ambitious project with a lot of enthusiasm. We can definitely claim to be a top team in the category and we believe we have the credentials to fight for the World title, as actually we did in the last two seasons. Di Giannantonio already achieved great results in 2016, so we expect a lot from him because he can now count on more experience. On the other hand, Martin accumulated a good experience in the past years and I like him a lot as a rider: he’s talented and I think he will give us great satisfaction. Moreover, the choice of Jorge

Navarro gets 2017 into gear at team launch

Fausto Gresini, Team Manager: “Our program in the Moto2 World Championship together with Federal Oil continues to be a very ambitious project: in the 2017 season we will bring to the Moto2 debut one of the most talented riders expressed by Moto3, Jorge Navarro. A rider of undoubted talent, which in 2016 was still one of the great protagonists of the smaller displacement, despite some injuries have not allowed him to fully express his potential. Jorge has a great desire to do well and last November, although he was not in the best physical condition, he already wanted to try the Kalex to start getting to grips with a totally new category for him; later he had time to undergo

Bagnaia set to make Moto2™ move with new VR46 team

Pablo Nieto, Team Manager: "We are very proud to announce that in 2017 we will have 4 young Italian talents on the track. We will continue in Moto3 with two KTM machines, and we will redouble our efforts – in the intermediate category of the world championship. The line up of the Moto2 team will be completed later, but we are happy to have Francesco Bagnaia back with us once again. After the interruption of the relationship between the team and Romano Fenati, we have decided to continue with our initial project of two Moto2 machines in the intermediate class. We will take a few weeks to decide who will join Bagnaia in this new challenge. We’re motivated to accompany
