Tim Tebow Gets Brutal Assessment From Scouts After Arizona Fall League
Tim Tebow sure is trying to make this baseball thing work, but so far, that’s just not happening. The former NFL quarterback signed with the New York Mets in September and has been playing in the Arizona Fall League, where he put up a .194/.296/.242 slash line with three doubles, no home runs and 20 strikeouts in 19 games. And with those numbers came pretty rough assessments from major league scouts. Here’s what a few had to say, via the New York Post: “Awful,” one American League scout said. “Stinks,” one National League scout said. “Ugly,” another executive said. “In the field and at the plate, nothing looks natu... Emotional Luke Kuechly Carted Off Field After Suffering Scary-Looking Injury
The Carolina Panthers beat the New Orleans Saints on “Thursday Night Football” 23-20, but that was the last thing on everyone’s minds afterward. Panthers superstar linebacker Luke Kuechly was carted off the field with under five minutes remaining in the game and was evaluated for a concussion after suffering a horrific-looking injury. It appeared as though Saints running back Tim Hightower inadvertently hit Kuechly in the head with his own helmet as he was being tackled. Kuechly visibly was gasping for air when the cameras zoomed in on his face after the injury, and he appeared to be very emotional. Thumbnail photo via Jerem... NESN.com
How Jason Heyward’s Rain-Delay Speech Made Cubs World Series Champions
Jason Heyward might have earned every penny of his $ 184 million contract with one speech Wednesday night. Rajai Davis’ two-run homer shockingly tied Game 7 of the World Series for the Cleveland Indians in the eighth inning, and Heyward’s Chicago Cubs entered the 17-minute rain delay that preceded extra innings possibly feeling sorry for themselves. That’s when Heyward stepped forward and rallied his teammates. “That was the best thing for us,” Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant told FOX Sports on the field after the game. “I mean, we all got together in the weight room, and, you know, we all supported each other. … Jason Heyward led the... NFL Network Reveals Top 10 Patriots Of All Time; Tom Brady Headlines List
Share this: It’s not easy to whittle all the New England Patriots greats into a top 10, but the NFL Network gave it a crack Friday night in “Top 10: New England Patriots.” And while it’s hard to argue with most of the picks, there were some interesting choices. Now, one thing you can’t argue with is Tom Brady as the No. 1 Patriot of all time. Brady already arguably is the greatest quarterback in NFL history, so he was a lock at the top of this list. While many of the selections were from the past two decades, there were a few legends on the list. Pro Football Hall of Famers John Hannah (No. 2), Andre Tippett (No. 4) and Mike Haynes (No. 5) all made the top

The Pats and Texans each donned their own versions of the jerseys, with Houston going with the all-white versions while New England put a twist on a classic. The Patriots weren’t blinded by the white, though, as they thumped the visitors 27-0. Here are the best 13 photos from Patriots vs. Texans. Winslow Townson/USA TODAY Sports Images Greg M. Cam Newton Shows Off New Touchdown Dance After Breaking Rushing TD Record
Share this: We knew the dab was a thing of the past for Cam Newton, but his new victory celebration remained a secret until Thursday night. The Panthers quarterback broke Steve Young’s record when he scored his 44th career rushing touchdown late in the second quarter of Carolina’s NFL Kickoff game against the Denver Broncos, but let’s be honest — the dance was the main story. We’re not exactly sure what to call this new celebration, so we’ll just leave these videos here. R.I.P. dabbing. Thumbnail photo via Mark J. Rebilas/USA TODAY Sports Images More Stories Source link
