Ex-Patriot Gives Inside Look At How Players Are Coached To Address Media

Share this: There’s a reason New England Patriots players don’t spend a lot of time complimenting their teammates, and it’s not for lack of admiration. Former Patriots defensive tackle Terrence Knighton found out the hard way not to heap too much praise on a fellow defensive lineman. “You get coached up every day on how to talk to the media,” Knighton said on “PFT Live.” “One time, I did an interview and I gave a guy credit. I thought I was doing the right thing by digging up my teammate and saying he was going to have a great year. We got in a team meeting and (head coach Bill Belichick) called me out, basically said to me, ‘You’re not an expert,

Leon Orgis and Tim Georgi fastest at Donington Park

"Overall, things went quite well today. The practice session wasn't bad either. In qualifying, though, we unfortunately had a defective rear tyre, which meant I wasn't able to push as hard as I had intended. Even so, we find ourselves first on the grid, so I can hardly complain. I am happy about that. The track is quite interesting, especially the first two sectors, because it's very fast there. The surface is not outstanding, as it's quite bumpy, but at the end of the day, the conditions are the same for everyone. In tomorrow's race, I hope that Walid and I leave the rest behind, just like we did at Oschersleben. We'll then see what happens in the race. It

Braves Play ‘Mario Kart’ During Rain Delay, Use It For ‘Team Bonding’

Share this: “Mario Kart” tournaments have been tearing college roommates apart for years, but they’re bringing the Atlanta Braves together. The Braves endured a three-hour, 12-minute rain delay Tuesday before the seventh inning of their 6-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. But in the meantime, some of the guys — including Nick Markakis, Ender Inciarte, Sean Rodriguez, Jim Johnson and Jace Peterson — played “Mario Kart” on the SunTrust Park clubhouse’s Nintendo Switch, playing six races each before declaring a winner. And that winner usually is Markakis, who plays as Princess Peach. “The best in the clubhouse is definitely Nick Markakis, as he is phenomenal,” Braves pitcher Luke Jackson said, per MLB.com’s Jaylon Thompson. “(Pitcher Eric) O’Flaherty is pretty good, Ender is good and

Red Sox Hope Momentum Carries Over To Three-Game Series With Rangers

Share this: The Boston Red Sox hope that Sunday’s win over the Oakland Athletics will be the start of sustained success. The Red Sox pounded out 15 hits in a 12-3 win over the A’s and Boston hopes it can keep the momentum going when they open a three-game series against the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park on Tuesday night. The Red Sox still are trying to find out who they are as a team with questions surrounding the starting rotation and a streaky offense, but if the offense can remain on track then the Red Sox will begin to find their identity. Baz: “Le Mans is a track that should suit us better”

Loris Baz: “Home GPs are always something very special, and it’s always exciting to race in front of the people who come to this race because it’s something very special. There are also a lot of different things happening and distractions throughout the weekend and all my sponsors will be in Le Mans – so it’s important to be well-organised to be able to focus well on the race. The circuit has been resurfaced, so that will change things a lot, too. Jerez wasn’t great but Le Mans is a circuit that could suit us better, because there are hard braking areas and that’s one of my strong points with this bike. So I hope I can have a good

Watch Celtics’ Jaylen Brown Grab Rebound From His Back In Game 7 Vs. Wizards

Share this: Things are getting tight at TD Garden. The Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards are dueling in a winner-take-all Game 7 of their NBA Eastern Conference semifinals series, and Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown is all over the court for Boston. Midway through the third quarter, Wizards center Marcin Gortat tossed Brown on his back, but despite not getting the foul call, the C’s rookie still was able to pull down the rebound from the floor. Brown also scored on a ridiculous alley-oop from Marcus Smart. The rookie picked the perfect time to have a big game.
