Tom Brady Credits Patriots Improved Deep Passing Game With Work On Mechanics

Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady’s deep ball was in vintage form Sunday, when he hit wide receiver Chris Hogan in stride on two of the better vertical passes the quarterback has thrown since Randy Moss left the New England Patriots in 2010. Brady completed 42- and 52-yard heaves to Hogan in the second quarter of the Patriots’ 33-13 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, leading one to ponder whether he worked on his deep ball this offseason, including the four weeks in which he was suspended. “Yeah, I’ve always worked pretty hard on my mechanics and making sure I’m doing things the right way mechanically,” Brady said. “I think that’s translated into a lot of throws, but hopefully I can hit those ones down the

Tom Brady Flaunts Super Bowl Rings In Delightful Shields Health Care Commercial

Share this: Tom Brady needed less than 30 seconds to draw himself even closer to New England Patriots fans. The Patriots quarterbacks stars in a new commercial for Shields Health Care in which he simultaneously demonstrates what his fans love, and his detractors hate, about him. The spot needs little to no explanation. [embedded content] If Brady hadn’t reached peak-Patriot after 16-plus seasons and four unforgettable Super Bowl titles, Shields Health Care certainly has taken him there. Brady is expected to play his first game of the 2016 NFL season on Sunday when the Patriots visit the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland fans likely will shower Brady with boos at FirstEnergy Stadium, but the 39-year-old will remain a bright spot in the hearts of Patriots

Richie Incognito Pokes Fun At Bill Belichick For Lashing Out At Tablet

Share this: New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had plenty to be frustrated about during his team’s 16-0 loss Sunday to the Buffalo Bills, and Bills offensive lineman Richie Incognito had some fun at his expense. After the Patriots allowed a first quarter touchdown reception from Tyrod Taylor to running back LeSean McCoy, CBS cameras caught Belichick spiking a tablet to its demise on the sideline. Incognito, whose had his own issues, took to Instagram to poke fun at Belichick. The Patriots, who suffered their first shutout in nearly a decade, will look to get back in the win column Sunday when they welcome Tom Brady back from his Deflategate suspension against the Browns in Cleveland. NFLPA Won’t Pursue Deflategate Appeals After Consulting With Tom Brady

Share this: It appears we officially can say goodbye to Deflategate. The drama basically has been for a while after Tom Brady decided not to appeal the U.S. Court of Appeals’ decision to reinstate his four-game Deflategate suspension in the offseason, but the NFL Players’ Association still had the option to pursue further legal action in the case. But the NFLPA tweeted Sunday shortly before Brady’s suspension expired at midnight that it is done after talking with Brady. After consultation with Tom Brady and our appellate counsel, we have decided to not pursue additional appeals in this matter. — NFLPA (@NFLPA) October 3, 2016 So there you have it, folks: Deflategate is history. And now it’s on to Cleveland, with TB12 ready to awaken. Thumbnail photo via Noah K. Murray/USA TODAY Sports

Tom Brady Celebrates Patriots’ Win With Funny New Edition Of ‘TB Times’

Share this: You’re not supposed to mess with Texas, but that’s exactly what the New England Patriots did Thursday night. The Pats (3-0) cruised to a 27-0 win over the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium with rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett under center, which certainly was cause for celebration for everyone in New England, including Tom Brady. Brady, who still has to miss one more game due to his Deflategate suspension, congratulated his teammates after the win with another edition of “TB Times,” which had a very appropriate headline. Oh, and don’t forget cover models Danny Amendola and Malcolm Butler. Thumbnail photo via Rick Osentoski/USA TODAY Sports Images More Stories Source link

Patriots Pick Six: Jamie Collins, Malcolm Butler Star Vs. Texans In Win

FOXBORO, Mass. — It turns out the New England Patriots were just fine without Jimmy Garoppolo. Oh, and Tom Brady, Dont’a Hightower, Dion Lewis, Sebastian Vollmer and a good 80 percent of Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots embarrassed the Houston Texans 27-0 with rookie Jacoby Brissett at quarterback. The nicest thing one could say about the Texans’ offense is they crossed the 50-yard line. And it took them until late in the third quarter to do so. This Patriots team could be historically good when Brady returns. Here are the Patriots’ six stars of the game.
