Bloomingdale Trail capturing: Boy, 17, shot in face

A 17-year-old boy was shot in his face Monday afternoon on the Bloomingdale Trail between the Logan Square and Humboldt Park neighborhoods on the Northwest Side. Authorities responded about 12:30 p.m. to a capturing on the path within the 1800 block of North Drake Avenue, Chicago police and hearth officers mentioned. The boy was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his nostril, police mentioned. His situation was not recognized. Additional particulars haven't been launched.
