Twitter Explodes After Cubs Clinch First World Series Berth In 71 Years

The Chicago Cubs are going to the World Series. No, that’s not a joke. The Cubs are National League champions for the first time since 1945 after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0 in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series at Wrigley Field on Saturday night. As you might expect, the reaction to the Cubs’ triumph on Twitter was pretty insane. A lot of people weren’t alive the last time the Cubs won the pennant. Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons Have Hilarious Twitter Exchange During Debate

We’re not sure if Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid can make the Philadelphia 76ers great again, but they at least won Twitter on Wednesday night. Like many of you, the 76ers teammates were following the third and final presidential debate Wednesday. At some point, Simmons apparently had enough of what he was hearing from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, and he took to Twitter to voice his displeasure. But that tweet became an afterthought after Embiid’s response. It turns out Simmons, who is from Australia, doesn’t have to worry about that, though. So breathe, America. Harden kicks LeBron; Rockets add Twitter jab

HOUSTON -- Rockets guard James Harden was called for a flagrant foul for appearing to kick LeBron James below the belt in Sunday's 105-103 overtime win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a flagrant foul 1, allowing Harden to stay in the game and finish off a 33-point performance to lead Houston to victory. The play occurred with 2:08 remaining in the third quarter when James and Cavs backup forward James Jones double-teamed Harden, trying to force a jump-ball situation. Harden fell to the floor and, while he was still lying on the court, kicked at James. "Obviously that's n...

Cowboys Cheerleader Melissa Kellerman Forced Off Twitter After Joking About Jason Witten’s Accidental Tackle

The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are perhaps the most recognizable squad in the league, so when one cheerleader was forced to cancel her Twitter account, it generated some buzz. Even more perplexing, though, is the reasoning behind the organization requesting that Melissa Kellerman cancel her account. During the Cowboys-Dolphins game on Thanksgiving, tight end Jason Witten was pushed out of bounds, at which point he knocked over 22-year-old cheerleader. On Friday morning, Kellerman posted two seemingly harmless tweets about the incident. She tweeted: "Not hurtin' today, like some of y'all thought I would be! Our TE isn't as tough as he looks... That or I'm WAY tougher than I look. ;)" And then: "I'm not the best at Jason Witten trust falls. ;)" Neither of the tweets seemed offensive

Carles Puyol shows off his sexy girlfriend on Twitter

Doing the perfume dance… If you’re not one of the 394,088 Twitter followers hanging on Carles Puyol’s every waking thought and emotion, you mightn’t be aware that he’s managed to score himself a hot girlfriend/perfume model - not exactly what you’d expect from a man who opts for ”the roadie” look when he’s not winning things with Barcelona or Spain. Anyway, for those who weren’t aware, Carles kindly twatted her latest perfume video on Twitter. That’s her above. She’s called Malena Costa.
