Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward is one of the top NBA free agents on the market, and there are several teams interested in his services. Hayward has meetings lined up this weekend with the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz, per ESPN’s Marc Stein, setting the stage for some potential fireworks on July 4. The 27-year-old star has been linked with the Celtics quite often, with the obvious connection being Boston head coach Brad Stevens, who recruited and coached Hayward while the two were at Butler University. But the C’s appear to have stiff competition for Hayward, who averaged a career-high 21.9 points per game last season. Kee... NESN.com

Jazz Fans Launch Aggressive Campaign To Convince Gordon Hayward Not To Leave
Share this: Utah Jazz fans have heard all the Gordon Hayward chatter and see the writing on the wall. But they’re doing everything they can to change it. Hayward, Utah’s best player and lone All-Star, will become a free agent this summer, and the Boston Celtics are one of several teams not named the Jazz expected to pursue him. Hayward leaving Utah would be tough break for a Jazz team on the rise, so superfan Garrett Jones decided to take action. Jones launched a bold GoFundMe campaign Tuesday soliciting money to build a massive billboard in Salt Lake City with a plea for Hayward. The message would go up on a billboard between Utah’s practice facility and Vivint Smart Home Arena for the whole month
Celtics Wrap: Isaiah Thomas, Kelly Olynyk Lead C’s To 112-104 Win Over Jazz
Share this: The Boston Celtics should have been tired playing their third game in four nights against a team with the third-ranked defense in the NBA. The C’s, however, shot 59.2 percent from the field en route to a 112-104 win over the Utah Jazz that wasn’t as close as the final score would indicate. Boston got off to a hot start and never let the Jazz get comfortable, leading by double digits for most of the contest before weathering a late run to secure the win. Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with 29 points, while Kelly Olynyk (19 points, seven rebounds), Gerald Green (16 points) and Al Horford (16 points, nine rebounds) each scored in double figures for the Celtics. Jae Crowder Tweets ‘I Have No Problem Leaving (Boston)’ In Angry Twitter Rant
Share this: Jae Crowder took to Twitter to voice his displeasure that Celtics fans were cheering for Utah Jazz star Gordon Hayward during Boston’s 115-104 win Tuesday night. First, Crowder tweeted his thoughts on the Hayward cheering. HOME TEAM FANS CHEERING FOR THE OPPOSING PLAYERS NOW.. AW MAN OK… SMH BUT GOOD WIN FELLAS ONTO THE NEXT ONE.!! — JAE CROWDER (@CJC9BOSS) January 4, 2017 Then, the Celtics forward retweeted a fan saying he should go back to the Dallas Mavericks, where Crowder played before he was dealt to Boston as part of the Rajon Rondo trade. The most shocking tweet came next, though. Crowder probably is just really upset, and no one should be tweeting when emotions are running high. Thumbnail photo via Bob DeChiara/USA TODAY Sports
