Lowes: “My target is to win the Moto2 title”

SL22: “We had a good test at Misano, I only did 40 laps because of my injured foot from Brno, which is still damaged so I didn’t do too much but it’s a track that I like and I’ve done a bit there on a MotoGP bike. I look forward to it and it’s the team’s home race which is always nice. I love Misano, I can’t wait to get there. For me now the goal is to get closer to the front, get in the points and try and sneak a top ten before the end of the season. Keep plugging away, enjoy it as much as I can, and give everything, every lap so I’m in good stead

Kelly Olynyk’s Epic Game 7 For Celtics Makes Wizards Fan Lose His Mind

Share this: Reese Waters didn’t wait long to ask the question on every NBA fan’s mind. The comedian and ESPN correspondent wondered aloud Monday how Kelly Olynyk torched the Washington Wizards in the Boston Celtics’ 115-105 win in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Olynyk didn’t start the game but he still managed to score a career playoff high 26 points in the Celtics win. Waters, a Washington D.C. sports fan, didn’t hold back on the referees, Wizards center Marcin Gortat, the Boston area or his favorite teams in his postgame rant. Jimmy Butler Calls Out Marcus Smart After Bulls’ Loss To Celtics For ‘Acting Tou…

Share this: Marcus Smart is one of the toughest defenders in basketball, but Jimmy Butler believes it’s all an act. In the second quarter of Game 4 of the first-round NBA playoff series between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls on Sunday, Smart and Butler engaged in a bit of a scrum and were forced to be separated by players and officials. Smart appeared to be standing his ground against the Bulls star, but Butler accredited that to the Celtics guard’s acting skills. “As far as the Marcus Smart situation goes, he’s a great actor, acting tough,” Butler told MassLive’s Tom Westerholm. “That’s what he does. But I don’t think he’s about that. I’m the wrong guy to get in my face. He needs

Rob Gronkowski Already Is Itching To Get Back On Field For Patriots

by Zack Cox on Mon, Mar 27, 2017 at 8:26AM 1,768 Share this: The 2017 NFL season doesn’t kick off for another five months, but Rob Gronkowski already is raring to go. The New England Patriots tight end, who missed the final two months of the 2016 campaign after undergoing back surgery in early December, fired off a tweet Sunday night saying he “literally can’t wait to compete again and play ball.” Having fun and all these days but literally can't wait to compete again and play ball. Miss it. Been to long. — Rob Gronkowski (@RobGronkowski) March 27, 2017 If Gronkowski can return to his pre-injury form, the Patriots’ offense has the potential to devastate opposing defenses. Since the NFL league year opened earlier this month, New England,

MIT Finds Carpooling With Uber, Lyft Could Reduce Number Of New York Taxis

Share this: Looks like sharing really is caring, as far as the everyday commuter and environment are concerned. But don’t tell that to traditional taxi drivers. According to a study done by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, increased carpooling through ride-hailing services, like Uber and Lyft, could eliminate the need for the roughly 14,000 taxis roaming the streets of New York. The study was conducted by Professor Daniela Rus of MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and uses computer models to show how carpooling, when in conjunction with ride-hailing apps, could drastically alter commuting conditions in urban environments. As few as 3,000 four-passenger cars could serve 94 percent of New York’s commuting demand, while 2,000 ten-person vehicles would increase that  figure to
