FOXBORO, Mass. — Sony Michel’s stats through four NFL games paint the picture of a player who’s picking up the game very quickly. How so? The New England Patriots rookie running back has increased his yards per carry in each game this season. Week 2 vs. Jacksonville: 3.4 yards per carryWeek 3 vs. Detroit: 3.6 yards per carryWeek 4 vs. Miami: 4.5 yards per carryWeek 5 vs. Indianapolis: 5.4 per carry In this case, the numbers don’t lie. After missing most of Patriots training camp and the entire preseason with a knee injury, Michel is soaking up as much knowledge as he can. And much of that knowledge is coming from his... NESN.com

Red Sox’s Rick Porcello Bemoans Walks Allowed In Outing Vs. White Sox
Rick Porcello had allowed one walk or less in seven of his 13 outings entering Sunday. Unfortunately for the Boston Red Sox starter, he had trouble finding the strike zone in the series finale against the Chicago White Sox. The veteran right-hander allowed three free-passes to the Southsiders, including a bases-loaded walk in the third inning, as Chicago grabbed a 5-2 victory at Fenway Park. After the game, Porcello acknowledged that while pitchers won’t be 100 percent every outing, throwing strikes is to be expected. The Boston Red Sox will send Rick Porcello to the mound Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park as they try to take two of three games from their weekend series against the Chicago White Sox. Porcello takes a two-game win streak into Sunday. His last outing was particularly impressive. He went 6 1/3 innings and gave up just two runs in a victory over the defending World Series champion Houston Astros. The Red Sox have made a few changes to their lineup. Sandy Leon replaces Christian Vazquez at catcher and will bat ninth. Mitch Moreland will play first base and bat third, and Brock Holt gets the start at second base with Eduardo Nunez getting a

Red Wings Condemn Use Of Their Logo At Charlottesville Rally
The Detroit Red Wings want nothing to do with white nationalism or the so-called alt-right. The NHL team condemned a white nationalist group’s use of its logo Saturday at the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va. The Red Wings issued a statement that day in which they made their stance clear and threatened legal action. A Michigan-based white nationalist group called the Detroit Right Wings has adopted the Red Wings’ logo, albeit with slight alterations, according to CNN. “The only difference between the Red Wings and Right Wings logos?” CNN’s Paul P. Murphy wrote Saturday. “The spokes of the tire that is the center ... NESN.com

Here’s Why Red Sox’s Walk-Off Win Was A Real Bummer For White Sox
There was a little bit of foreshadowing during the Boston Red Sox’s win Friday that perhaps the Chicago White Sox should have noticed. The White Sox had their chances against the Red Sox at Fenway Park, but ultimately, the home team left the field with the 3-2 extra-innings win. Chicago had its first two batters reach base in both the ninth and 11th innings, but some stellar defense by the Red Sox made sure the team didn’t put any runs on the board. That paved the way for Boston first baseman Mitch Moreland to hit a walk-off solo shot in the bottom of the 11th off an aptly named White Sox reliever. We’re
