Celtics Fans Should Review This Wild Stat Before Ripping Marcus Smart’s Shooting
Let’s get this right out of the way: Marcus Smart is not especially good at shooting a basketball. In fact, you could say he’s among the worst long-range shooters in the NBA. There is a “however” here, however. Smart long has frustrated Boston Celtics fans by firing up brick after brick from beyond the arch. But this season, at least, the Celtics guard actually has been as good as one of the NBA’s premier marksmen. Check out this wild stat from MassLive’s Tom Westerholm: That’s right: Smart basically has been as good as Klay Thompson from 3-point range this season. Through 23 games, Smart has made 25 of 75 shots from ... NESN.com
Mississippi State-Ole Miss Brawl In Wild Sequence During 2018 Egg Bowl
In the least surprising news of the day, the 2018 edition of The Egg Bowl got a little weird and a little wild. The historic rivalry between Mississippi State and Ole Miss always seems to deliver memorable moments, and Thursday’s installment was no different. As we’ve become accustomed to, Trump fired off a tweet insulting both Lemon and James before adding that he is, in fact, a Michael Jordan guy. Cool story, Don. We could run through the laundry list of ways James has bettered his community through his char... NESN.com
