Watch Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s Thrilling Last-Lap Pass Of Kyle Busch Again
Share this: Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s victory Sunday in the GEICO 500 showed exactly why the two-time Nationwide Series champion was once considered one of the hottest young drivers in the sport. The 29-year-old earned his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win by outdueling Kyle Busch, one of the sport’s most aggressive drivers, throughout the final laps at Talladega Superspeedway. Stenhouse never backed down, finally pulling off a thrilling pass at roughly 200 mph in the No. 17 Ford Fusion. Stenhouse’s win is gigantic for Roush Fenway Racing, which had not posted a race win since 2014, a drought of 101 races. And Stenhouse’s final overtake ensures fans will be re-watching video of the last lap for a long time. Thumbnail photo via

How Celtics Are Finding Their Playoff Identity Amid Comeback Vs. Bulls
Share this: BOSTON — Don’t look now, but Brad Stevens’ scrappy group of regular season overachievers are starting to figure out how to win in the playoffs. First things first: They’ve have some luck on their side. The Celtics looked dead in the water in their first-round NBA playoff series against the Chicago Bulls until Rajon Rondo went out with a fractured thumb after Game 2. Rondo’s absence absolutely helped facilitate Boston’s three-game win streak, the latest a 108-97 victory in Game 5 on Wednesday night that pushed the C’s one game away from completing a historic comeback. But to equate Boston’s recent success solely to the Bulls’ failures without Rondo would miss an important point: The Celtics, after repeated postseason struggles under Stevens, appear to have developed the mental toughness required
Real Madrid: story so far, key players, why they can win
Story so farFor just the second time in eight seasons Real Madrid had to settle for second in their group – and as in 2012/13, it was Dortmund who finished above them. The German team profited from late equalisers in both encounters, though Madrid were grateful for one of their own at Legia and twice against Sporting CP. The holders blew away the cobwebs in the last 16, though, overpowering an impressive Napoli side 6-2 on aggregate. Next up: Bayern.Record this season: P8 W5 D3 L0 F22 A12 Highlights... Bayern: story so far, key players, why they can win
Story so far: BayernThe German champions never really got out of second gear in the group stage, advancing with two games to spare despite a 1-0 loss at Atlético.
