Marcos Ramirez, P3: “I feel really good, thanks to the team and KTM for working a lot to get this result. For me the race was fantastic, I was fighting to win the race! In the end I finished third but at the end for me it’s like a win. In the final part I didn’t want to push too much in case I crashed, I preferred to finish third. Before the race I knew Mir, Canet, and Bulega had good pace, and I thought Fenati too. I wanted to follow Joan Mir because I knew he was faster, just follow, and at the end push a bit more. Now one month of break, but holidays is relative because all

Mir: "I wanted to leave the mistake in Assen behind"
Joan Mir, P1: "This victory means a great deal! I wanted to leave the mistake in Assen behind and prove I could win: and I wanted to win here. It was a long and difficult race, I immediately tried to make a break with a small group. I had a good pace and in the end our strategy worked perfectly. I would never have imagined getting to the Championship’s break with this margin of an advantage, but there are still many races. Now, a week of vacation, then I'll get back to training." Source link
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Ready To Celebrate Daytona Win At July Fourth Cookout
Share this: Racing drivers always say their first win was the hardest, and they come easy after that. Well, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. sure made it seem that way when he picked up his second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win on Saturday. Stenhouse passed David Ragan for the lead with two laps remaining in the Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola, and stayed there until the checkered flag flew. The win is his second Cup victory, and his first at Daytona Internationals Speedway, so Stenhouse was glad he already had a party planned. During his victory lane interview, Stenhouse told NBC Sports, “I already had a Fourth of July party planned, but I guess it just got bigger.” The 29-year-old Roush Fenway Racing driver
Cavs’ J.R. Smith Tweets (Then Deletes) Bold NBA Finals Claim After Game 3
Share this: The odds are stacked against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but J.R. Smith isn’t giving up hope. The Cavs had a Game 3 win within reach Wednesday night, but the Golden State Warriors came storming back with an 11-0 run to take a commanding 3-0 series lead in the NBA Finals. Cleveland did come back from a 3-1 series deficit in last year’s NBA Finals against the Warriors, but having to win four straight against Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson is a whole different story. However, Smith still believes the Cavs have a chance. He later deleted the tweet, but nothing can be deleted from the internet. UPDATE (12:57 a.m. ET): Smith since has claimed that the tweet was the result of

Austin Dillon’s Fuel-Mileage Gamble Leads To Huge Win At Coca-Cola 600
Share this: 400 laps of racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Austin Dillon’s No. 3 car wouldn’t have made it one more if he begged it. Dillon was one of a handful of drivers that elected not to take a pit stop on lap 368 of the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday, and his fuel-mileage gamble gave him fist first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victory. Dillon was able to overcome a one hour, 40-minute weather delay, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch to take the checkered flag. Truex Jr. led for a majority of the race, including re-taking the lead from Busch on a restart with 67 laps to go. But while Truex Jr. and Busch elected to pit, Johnson and
Martellus Bennett Recalls Halftime Scene In Patriots’ Locker Room During Super B…
by Zack Cox on Thu, May 18, 2017 at 10:34AM 1,342 Share this: By all accounts, the New England Patriots were a confident bunch during halftime of Super Bowl LI, despite the fact they trailed the Atlanta Falcons by 18 points at the time. Quietly confident, according to Martellus Bennett. Bennett, who now plays for the Green Bay Packers, recalled in an interview with Inc. what the mood was like inside the Patriots’ locker room. “In the Super Bowl, we were down,” the tight end said. “We were getting our (butts) kicked. But the most interesting thing about that Super Bowl was that it took that collective group of guys to be together to come back. We came into the locker room at halftime, and there
