Seahawks Punter Loses Ball, Gets Crushed, Fumbles On Bizarre Trick Play
Share this: Punters are not supposed to take the kind of punishment Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan took in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. Ryan took off on a fake punt and had acres of open space ahead of him. Near the end of Ryan’s run, he began to lose control of the ball, and right as he maintained a firm grip again he was crushed by a Rams player. It was ruled a fumble and the Rams recovered, but the play was reviewed and Seattle maintained possession of the football. Ryan immediately was placed into the concussion protocol. At least he has the following stat to be proud of. Jon Ryan’s longest run of the year is nine
McPhee: “I’m excited to come home!”
JM17: “It’s been a difficult year. The bike was new to me and new to the team so we had a lot of learning to do. I think three or four races in we made a step forward and we weren’t in such a tricky position like we thought we were in Qatar. Then come the midway point…obviously the win in Brno was a good achievement, for Peugeot, for me and for the team – because that was something we didn’t think was going to be achievable this year. From then on everything seemed to click a bit better. In Phillip Island we were strong from the start, and I think we could have fought for the podium.” Source link

Fabio di Giannantonio wins Dunlop’s #ForeverForward
James Bailey, Director, Motorsport PR and Communications: “We introduced the #ForeverForward trophy in 2015 to recognise riders’ fightbacks across the 18 rounds and we are delighted to confirm Fabio as the winner of the trophy this year. Moto2 and Moto3 are widely recognised for the close racing, which sees an incredible number of overtaking manoeuvres taking place each weekend. In the #ForeverForward award Dunlop is proud to recognise the talent and overtaking skill involved to allow riders to progress through the races. Fabio’s racecraft, developed on Dunlop tyres last year as a Red Bull Rookie Cup racer, was particularly impressive in his first Moto3 season and demonstrates his potential as a front-runner in 2017.” Source link
