A 15-year-old boy was wounded when he was shot Saturday in Roseland on the Far South Side.
He was strolling in an alley about 11:14 p.m. within the 11100 block of South Emerald Avenue when a male carrying all black approached him from the gangway and fired photographs, Chicago police stated.
The teen was hit within the leg, and his situation was stabilized at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police stated.
No arrests have been made, and Area South detectives are investigating.
