Worked well with one minor problem which was solved easily,
This Joe Sport II pumped replaces the original Sport pump and the only difference I see is the metal air footing on this II model versus the plastic footing on the original plus this is slightly taller. It’s very sturdy after a month of usage with only one problem–the presta side leaked air even though it was locked. I managed to fix it by reinserting a Schrader valve on the other side and the pump worked well again. Overall it’s very sturdy with good balance and a thick stem and valve.
This pump could be improved if the gauge is higher for easier viewing plus some kind of compartment to store the included accessories (needle and cone tips).
This pump has also been used on longer presta valves with no problems and the Schrader side has worked flawlessly.

I bought this pump to replace an old broken Gary Fisher brand pump that I bought 15 years ago. This pump is great. It inflates 29″ mountain bike tires quickly and the gauge has a nice fluid sweep to it too. No complaints. Also has a nice big base so it doesn’t fall over easily. As an added bouns, it comes with a cone shaped tip to inflate rafts and beach balls, etc and also a small metal tip for inflating basketballs, soccer balls, etc. The tips are held in a nice little area right next to the gauge so they won’t get lost. Good stuff!
