Tuukka Rask On Hockey Future: ‘I Think My Best Years Are Ahead Of Me’

Tuukka Rask returned to the ice Friday for practice, and there’s a chance he could play Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings.

But no matter what happens this weekend, Rask still believes he has many more games — and years — ahead of him in net.

“Well, I’d like to think I haven’t hit my prime yet,” Rask told Jack Edwards, as seen Friday on “NESN Sports Today,” presented by People’s United Bank. “They say goalies are kind of late bloomers when it comes to that. I’m going to be 30 coming in March, so I think my best years are ahead of me. So that’s something that keeps you motivated.”
