Two folks have been arrested Sunday after they opened hearth in the direction of law enforcement officials in Lawndale on the West Side.
Officers in a marked squad automobile have been stopped at a cease signal about 3:24 a.m. within the 1800 block of South Kostner Avenue when somebody in a black Nissan sedan fired pictures of their course, Chicago police stated.
The automobile was stopped a block south, and a feminine and male have been taken into custody, police stated. A weapon was recovered.
No officers have been injured within the incident, police stated.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
