2 CPD officers damage in Roseland crash


Two law enforcement officials have been damage in a crash Wednesday in Roseland on the Far South Side.

About 6:30 p.m., the officers have been in a marked squad automobile with their lights and sirens activated within the 11500 block of South Michigan Avenue, Chicago police mentioned. A westbound Ford Explorer struck their automobile on the driving force’s facet and flipped it over on its facet.

Two officers have been taken to the University of Chicago Medical middle with non-life threatening accidents, fireplace mentioned.

The individuals within the Ford refused medical remedy and “appear in good shape,” police and fireplace officers mentioned.

The driver was cited for failure to yield to an emergency automobile, driving with no insurance coverage and passing a automobile on the correct shoulder, police mentioned.
