Two firefighters had been hospitalized after battling a blaze Sunday in Ravenswood on the North Side.
The fireplace broke out round 11 p.m. at a two-story construction within the 5100 block of North Lincoln Avenue, in accordance with the Chicago Fire Department.
A pair of firefighters had been despatched to a hospital in good situation out of precaution due to smoke inhalation, fireplace stated.
The fireplace was extinguished by midnight, fireplace stated.
