Two individuals have been shot — one among them fatally — Thursday in Englewood, hours after one other deadly taking pictures only a block away.
The two males have been sitting in a parked automobile about 1:35 a.m. within the 7000 block of South Perry when somebody in a white SUV pulled up and opened hearth on them, Chicago police mentioned.
One man, 42, was shot within the stomach and shoulder and brought to the University of Chicago Medical Center the place he was pronounced lifeless, police mentioned. The different man, 43, was shot within the arm and hand and was stabilized on the similar hospital.
The taking pictures occurred about three hours after one other double taking pictures a block farther south on Perry Avenue. Police mentioned it was too early to inform whether or not or not the shootings have been associated.
Area South detectives are investigating.
