2 significantly wounded in West Garfield Park taking pictures


Two males had been significantly wounded by gunfire Friday in West Garfield Park.

They had been driving in a car about 6:30 p.m. within the 100 block of North Lorel Avenue once they heard gunshots and realized they had been hit, Chicago police mentioned.

The males each went to Mt. Sinai Hospital.

A 23-year-old was shot in his chest and arm, and a 24-year-old was shot in his stomach and leg, police mentioned. They had been listed in critical situation.
