23-year-old guy dies 10 days after being shot in Englewood


Ten days after being significantly wounded in a shootout in Englewood, a 23-year-old guy died of his accidents.

The guy, known by way of the Cook County scientific examiner’s place of job as Narmere Shakur Young of West Englewood, died Wednesday on the University of Chicago Medical Center of headaches from a couple of gunshot wounds.

He and two others had been wounded Oct. four round 3:05 p.m. in an trade of gunfire within the 5800 block of South Ashland Avenue at the South Side.
