The Carolina Panthers rescinded their franchise tag on Josh Norman on Wednesday, making the star cornerback an unrestricted free agent.
Because we’re already more than a month into free agency, many teams have already spent their money and don’t have the means to make a play for Norman.
But there are a handful of teams who have sufficient salary cap space to try to sign the young stud, who made a name for himself last season by helping the Panthers go to Super Bowl 50.
