Police are warning companies to maintain and keep a safety system following 4 industrial burglaries reported in May and June in Austin on the West Side.
In every incident, the offender makes use of a rock or brick to interrupt the entrance door, enters the enterprise and removes gadgets from the premises, in line with a group alert from Chicago police.
These burglaries occurred:
May 15 within the 4800 block of West North Avenue; May 19 within the 4900 block of West North Avenue; May 28 within the 1500 block of North Cicero Avenue; and June 2 within the 5000 block of West Armitage Avenue.
All incidents occurred within the late night or early morning hours, police mentioned.
Police describe the suspect as a male standing between 5-foot-Eight and 6-feet and weighing between 150 and 200 kilos, with a bald head and a darkish brown complexion.
