A 24-year-old man was killed Tuesday when he was shot in Burnside on the South Side.
About 9:09 p.m., he was within the 8700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when somebody approached him from behind and shot him within the head, Chicago police stated. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
The Cook County health worker’s workplace hasn’t launched particulars about his dying.
No arrests have been made as Area South detectives examine.
