Albany Park, Irving Park armed robberies reported


Police are warning Northwest Side residents a couple of sequence of armed robberies final month in Albany Park and Irving Park.

In every case, a bunch of teenage boys or males displayed a gun or implied that they had one and demanded property, Chicago police mentioned in a group alert. In two instances, the suspects additionally punched the victims.

The robberies occurred:

At 11:43 p.m. Jan. 13 within the 4200 block of North Kimball Avenue; At 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 within the 3700 block of West Montrose Avenue; and At midday Jan. 26 within the 4300 block of North Keystone Avenue.

The suspects within the Kimball theft are described as two males, police mentioned. Three teenagers between 17 and 18 years outdated have been described within the Montrose incident.

In the Keystone case, the suspects have been described as three youngsters between 16 and 18 years outdated standing 5-foot-Eight to 5-foot-10 and weighing 140 to 180 kilos, police mentioned.
