Boy, 16, wounded in Little Village drive-by


A teen was wounded in a drive-by Sunday in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

The 16-year-old boy was strolling about 8:27 a.m. within the 3000 block of South Tripp Avenue when a male in a passing crimson sedan opened fireplace, Chicago police mentioned.

The boy was struck within the hip and arm, and his situation was stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital, police mentioned.

No arrests have been made as Area Central detectives examine.

A couple of hours earlier, a 17-year-old boy was harm in a separate capturing a couple of blocks away.
