The Bruins’ defense played a big role in their 5-2 win on Sunday over the New York Rangers. Torey Krug and Johnny Boychuck each netted goals, and Matt Bartkowski and Dougie Hamilton were both credited with assists.
Though they may be young, Krug, Bartkowski and Hamilton have proved themselves worthy of head coach Claude Julien‘s confidence moving forward in the series. Julien said he has encouraged the young players to continue doing the things they know they do well in order to continue making an impact.
