For the first time all season, the Montreal Canadiens are looking up at the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Bruins’ 4-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night allowed them to leapfrog the idle Habs, who were the East’s top team for the first month of the season but have lost 14 of their last 18 games.
