Chicago police are warning companies on the Near West Side and Lower West Side a couple of collection of economic burglaries reported in October.
In every incident, a person in his 40s pried open the entrance door of a retailer and stole property from inside, Chicago police mentioned.
The burglaries occurred:
· About 3:25 a.m. Oct. Three within the 1900 block of South Canalport Avenue;
· About 7:10 a.m. Oct. 19 within the 1600 block of West Hubbard Street; and
· Between 6 p.m. Oct. 28 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 29 within the 900 block of West Van Buren Street.
