New York Daily News Blasts Odell Beckham Jr. After Poor Game Vs. Packers

Share this: New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made headlines after his team’s Week 17 win over the Washington Redskins by flying to Miami to party on a boat with pop-star Justin Bieber and some of his fellow wide receivers, including Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard. After Beckham and the Giants were trounced by the Green Bay Packers 38-13 in their NFC Wild Card Game on Sunday, the New York Daily News ripped the star receiver on their back page, including a not-so-subtle jab at Beckham’s off-day activity. Beckham had a game he’d like to forget, as he caught only four passes for 28 yards, and dropped multiple passes throughout the game. The Packers, meanwhile, will head to Dallas to take on the

Patriots-Texans Preview: New England Holds Clear Edge In Playoff Matchup

Share this: The New England Patriots shut out the Houston Texans 27-0 in September with their third string quarterback under center. The Texans are one of the worst teams in NFL history to make it into the second round of the playoffs. They won an extremely soft AFC South and then played the Oakland Raiders, who were down to a rookie third-string quarterback, in the wild card round. The Texans ranked 29th in Football Outsiders’ total DVOA, 30th in offense and seventh in defense this season. Tom Savage, who took over at quarterback for Brock Osweiler in

Seahawks Move On To NFC Divisional Playoff Round With Win Over Lions

Share this: The Seattle Seahawks defended their home field in Saturday’s NFC Wild Card Game earning a dominant 26-6 win over the Detroit Lions. Running back Thomas Rawls powered the Seahawks offense, carrying the ball 27 times for 161 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Russell Wilson led the Seattle offensive attack through the air, completing 23 of 30 pass attempts for 224 yards and two touchdowns. One-handed touchdown catches seemed to be the theme of the night for the Seattle offense. The first one came via Paul Richardson, who hauled in a ridiculous touchdown despite being interfered with by Lions defensive back Tavon Wilson. Doug Baldwin followed Richardson’s act and might have stolen a touchdown catch from teammate Jermaine Kearse. The Lions offense struggled to get
