Ball was named NBA Summer League MVP on Monday, and also was named to the first team All-Summer League. Ball averaged 16.3 points, 9.7 assists and 7.7 rebounds per game, including four games with 10-plus assists. He certainly performed at a high level, but he didn’t play against De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings or in Monday night’s championship game. Share this: LOUDON, N.H. — Spectators must be on the lookout for race cars whenever they’re walking around a track during a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race. There was one vehicle that kept turning heads at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, though, that wasn’t a stock car. That’s because it was a Power Wheels Ford Mustang Boss 302. The mini Mustang that drew all the attention during Sunday’s Overton’s 301 was driven by Clint Bowyer’s son, Cash, and he had Kyle Larson’s son, Owen, riding shotgun. Share this: After 24 consecutive scoreless frames, the Boston Red Sox finally broke through in the third inning on Sunday night against the New York Yankees. The Red Sox and Yankees were locked in a scoreless tie in Game 2 of their Sunday doubleheader when Mookie Betts stepped to the plate with a runner on first against Masahiro Tanaka. And the Red Sox All-Star right fielder absolutely crushed a 1-1 fastball over the Green Monster to put the Sox up 2-0. The home run was Betts’ 17th of the year. It had been a long 48 hours for the Red Sox’s offense, but Betts’ monster shot should inject some life into Boston’s bats. Galore Bofando picked up an impressive win over Charlie Ward by tossing his opponent on his head. And as if that wasn’t enough, Bofando finished off the job with a series of violent hammer fists. Bofando now is 1-0 at the UFC level and 5-2 overall in his young mixed martial arts career. Ward, a teammate of Conor McGregor’s, falls to 0-2 in UFC. If Bofano can continue to knock out his opponents in convincing fashion such as this, he surely will have a lengthy UFC career.
