Cesar Salamanca killed in Little Village capturing


A person died hours after being shot Thursday in Little Village at the Southwest Side.

Officers replied to a ShotSpotter alert about 7:30 p.m. within the 3000 block of South Karlov Avenue and located 40-year-old Cesar Salamanca within a crashed automobile, Chicago police and the Cook County clinical examiner’s workplace mentioned.

He was once discovered with a gunshot wound to the face and brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, the place he was once pronounced lifeless Friday morning, government mentioned.

No arrests were reported. Area Central detectives are investigating.
