Chicago man charged with obstructing officers, burglarizing


A person from Chicago is accused of burglarizing a house and fleeing from police in a car in southwest suburban Palos Hills.

Peter Wasso, 26, was arrested July 10 and is charged with one depend of residential housebreaking and two counts of obstructing a peace officer, in keeping with Palos Hills police.

About 1 p.m. on January 23, officers responded to the 7900 block of 112th Place to a name of a residential housebreaking, police mentioned. They noticed two individuals working from the world after they arrived.

The suspects received in a car and “knocked down” officers who tried to cease them as they drove away, police mentioned.

After an investigation, detectives recognized Wasso because the alleged burglar and took him into custody, police mentioned.

He is being held on the Cook County Jail with out bond. His subsequent courtroom date was scheduled for Monday.
