Craig Sager’s back, and it’s like he never left.
The colorful NBA sideline reporter did his first interview since being diagnosed with leukemia Sunday before the NBA All-Star Game. Sager interviewed Carmelo Anthony via satellite from Orlando, Fla., and even showed off his, well, interesting short suit.
Sager said he hopes to be back full-time by March 1, and he’s been recovering thanks to support from the NBA community. Even Kevin Garnett, who famously told Sager to burn one of his crazy suits, checked in on the reporter every now and again.
