An individual was killed in a capturing Friday in Gresham on the South Side, police stated.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert about 3:40 p.m. within the 8000 block of South Paulina Street and located a male on the road with a number of gunshot wounds, Chicago police stated.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center the place he was later pronounced useless, police stated. His age was not instantly identified.
The Cook County health worker’s workplace hasn’t launched particulars concerning the fatality.
No arrests have been reported. Area South detectives had been investigating.
