Gresham hearth: Storefront, condominium hearth injures two


A fireplace broke out at a storefront with condominium constructions hooked up to it Tuesday morning, injuring two hearth combatants in Gresham at the South Side.

About 6:45 a.m. officers won experiences of a blazing storefront within the 7900 block of South Vincennes Avenue, and the flats, Chicago hearth officers stated.

Two firefighters won non-life threatening injures combating the hearth, officers stated.

About 7:40 a.m., the blaze was once deemed a degree one hazmat scenario because of “extreme smoke conditions,” hearth officers stated.
