Joliet canine assault: Man dies in assault through pit bull


A 46-year-old guy died after being attacked through a canine Thursday night in Joliet within the some distance southwest suburbs, police stated.

The assault spread out after a pit bull terrier changed into agitated all the way through a noisy argument between two other folks in a house within the 1200 block of Arthur Avenue, Joliet police stated in a commentary.

The guy attempted to intrude and loosen up the 5-year-old canine, however the canine proceeded to assault him, police stated.

The occupants of the house attempted to unfastened the person from the canine however have been not able, police stated. The in the end secured the canine and referred to as 911.

Paramedics arrived about 6:20 p.m. and took the 46-year-old to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, the place he died of accidents, police stated.
