Chicago police are caution citizens of an individual who has used social media to fulfill sufferers and rob them in Lawndale at the West Side.
In every incident a male, regarded as between 17 and 20-years-old, met sufferers on Facebook, consents to fulfill up within the 1200 block of South Christiana Avenue, then assaults them and calls for their belongings, in step with a neighborhood alert from Chicago police. In one incident, the male pulled out a knife when one individual attempted to shield themselves.
The robberies took place about 5:50 p.m. March 28 and about 4:20 p.m. April 21, police stated.
