Len Kasper leaving Cubs’ TV sales space for White Sox’ radio sales space


If any of the avid gamers last from the Cubs’ World Series championship core left the staff, it wouldn’t be as shocking as this departure.

A supply showed that Cubs TV voice Len Kasper is leaving to fill the vacant play-by-play spot within the White Sox’ radio sales space. Kasper, who has been with the Cubs for 16 years, will sign up for analyst Darrin Jackson at the Sox’ new house, ESPN 1000.

According to NBC Sports Chicago, Fox Sports’ Chris Myers will substitute Kasper subsequent to analyst Jim Deshaies within the Cubs’ sales space on Marquee Sports Network.

Andy Masur labored with Jackson final season in what amounted to a tryout. Masur changed longtime Sox voice Ed Farmer, who died April 1.

Kasper’s arrival at the South Side will probably be introduced Friday morning on ESPN 1000.
