Man discovered with explosives arrested in Genoa


A 54-year-old man is going through felony fees after explosives had been present in his car and residence in north suburban Genoa.

Joseph D. Walsh is charged with three counts of illegal use of weapons, in keeping with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Police responded to calls of an individual displaying a gun to a different motorist simply earlier than 6 p.m. Monday within the 200 block of Railroad Avenue, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned. A preliminary investigation discovered an explosive gadget in Walsh’s car, and Walsh was taken into custody.
