A person was discovered shot to dying Wednesday in southwest suburban Oak Forest.
Officers responding to stories of a potential theft about 10:30 p.m. discovered him with a gunshot wound within the 4700 block of West 167th Street, based on an announcement from Oak Forest Police Chief Tim Kristin.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the place he was pronounced lifeless, Kristin mentioned. His identification is being withheld pending notification of his household.
The Oak Forest Police Department and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating.
