A girl was shot Thursday in Gresham on the South Side.
She was within the yard of a house about 11:09 p.m. within the 7600 block of South Lowe Avenue when somebody unleashed gunfire, Chicago police stated.
The girl was hit within the again and brought to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police stated. Her situation was stabilized.
Area South detectives are investigating.
