A person was killed and a lady was wounded in a taking pictures Sunday in Little Italy on the Near West Side.
Officers responded to a big group disturbance about 1:33 a.m. within the 1300 block of West Hastings Street, Chicago police stated. They heard loud stories of gunshots and located a 27-year-old man hit within the chest and unresponsive.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital the place he was pronounced lifeless, police stated. A 25-year-old girl was hit within the forearm and took herself to the identical hospital. Her situation was stabilized.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives examine.
