A 49-year-old man was shot after intruding into one other man’s yard Tuesday in East Garfield Park on the West Side.
The taking pictures occurred about 5 a.m. within the yard of a residence within the 2900 block of West Walnut Avenue, Chicago police stated. The man was shot within the left thigh by the home-owner, a 54-year-old man.
The intruder was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good situation, police stated.
The shooter has a sound hid carry license however is presently in custody pending an investigation by Area Central detectives.
