Pedestrian killed in McHenry County crash: police


A person was fatally struck by a automotive Wednesday morning within the northwest suburbs, in response to police.

The 31-year-old was strolling alongside Route 31 when he was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Traverse in unincorporated Crystal Lake, the McHenry County sheriff’s workplace mentioned in a press release.

The crash occurred about 5:55 a.m. close to Daniel Drive, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned. The Traverse was pushed by a 40-year-old man from Cary.
